The Riverside Plaza 1st Annual Inland Empire Gospel/Jazz Competition begins this Sat.
Well, its here... the Riverside Plaza 1st Annual Inland Empire Gospel/Jazz Competition Festival Series and we are so, so excited! The mall is shutting down the streets in front of the movie theatre and the block party will begin. There will be prizes given away, gift bags, coupons for complimentary hormone/diet systems, face painting, special presentations from the 2010 Census, Guardian Angels, the Sickle Cell Foundation & many others.
We are smack in the middle of the food court area, the weather is so hot ....THE EVENING FESTIVITIES WILL BE OFF THE CHAIN!!!

May 5, 2009- Urban Lyfestyles Magazine is producing the first “Inland Empire Gospel/Jazz Festival & Competition hosted by the Riverside Plaza Shopping Mall 3535 Riverside Plaza Drive, Riverside, Ca. 92506
The purpose: to maintain a grassroots community based atmosphere in the Riverside area, to increase audiences that will patronize the businesses at the mall and to distribute information from vendors consisting of nonprofits and other entities.
The event will occur on the following dates: MAY 16TH, JUNE 27TH, JULY 25TH and the finals are AUG. 15TH from 5pm -9pm.
Individuals and/or groups will perform by track or with a live band and the audience will pick the 2 performances that will participate in the finals. Groups or individuals can sell cd’s at the artist booth. The finals will be judged by a panel of individuals from the entertainment arena.
Absolutely GANG ATTIRE, GANG OR PROFANITY TYPE MUSIC, NO HIP-HOP OR RAP.
There are many great prizes awarded to the winners and wonderful opportunities for the winners to perform at other venues throughout Southern California consisting of:
1. $1000 to the winner(s)
2. 4 hours of studio time
3. 100 cd duplications
4. performance at other events
5. feature layout in Urban Lyfestyles Magazine
