He was so impressive as a player his silhouette is used as the figure for the NBA emblem. He is the only player in NBA history to win the NBA finals Most Valuable Player even though being on the losing team. Inducted into the NBA Hall of Fame in 1980, Jerry West is one of the top 50 greatest players to ever play the game.
As a general manager he was the architect of the 1980’s Lakers “showtime”, bringing together Magic Johnson, Kareem Abduhl Jabbar and James Worthy to become one of the winningest teams in NBA franchise history. In the 90’s he did it again by signing Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’neal to the Lakers to win three championships in a row.

My son does the cage kick boxing and thought it was the same until he corrected me!!! lol!!! Well, all that means is that I have to write an article about wrestling and cage boxing and other similar sports to understand the differences.. I always figure that if I don't know...many others don't as well so I want to expose them to new things as I experence them.!!

Thats about it! I will be adding music to the front page...and oh.. when you are promoting your event or product, even though you put the picture in the box to upload.. ALSO upload your picture in the text area of the blog .. then type your message under the code.. the picture or flyer will stand out and be forced to be upfront and then the text... plus, it looks better and people like to look at adds...

I will be adding a discussion about LYFES REPORT!!! It's going to be an area for you to write a statement about how the exposure we are giving your project or service or event and helped one way or another. Perhaps you received an out of state phone call or perhaps you were introduced to a new client or organization or just received info about basic living self help tips that encouraged you... I hear about stories years after the event... and I really want to know that Urban Lyfestyles has moved you closer to whatever your goals are.. AND, IF YOU RECEIVED GREAT VALUE AND ATTENDENCE.. CDBG APLLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE!!!!

Good Morning Friend,

Applications for Community Development Block Grant funding from the County and the Cities are currently available. There are 12 cities within our county that allocate CDBG dollars to non-profits, including Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Rialto and San Bernardino. You must prove that you serve residents in the unincorporated areas to request CDBG funding from the County.

CDBG dollars are reimburseable. You do not receive the funds upfront. Completed applications are due no later than 5PM on November 25th. Those who apply MUST attend one of the CDBG Application Training Sessions. The last one will be held Nov. 16th from 2-4PM at the County Child Protective Services, Carousel Mall Conference Center, 128 Carousel Mall, San Bernardino.
